Classic Bike News – Race Retro 2011
Here’s an event for your diaries… February 25th sees the start of the 2011 Race Retro event at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry. It promises to be a spectacular event, with a real focus on action! For those not familiar with the event, it celebrates everything sporting on both 2 and 4 wheels. The iconic Ace Cafe London returns this year as the sponsor of the new “Fire Up Paddock”. Classic cafe and road racing bikes will be brought back to life, giving visitors the opportunity to hear the motorcycles as well as see them in all their glory up close.
Included in the line up of machines is the Ace 904S Thruxton Special, built by T3 Racing in conjunction with Ace Cafe London’s Stonebridge Motor Company. This stunning bike brings together the timeless lines of the classic British motorcycle with state-of-the-art hi-tech and modern high performance. Read more here..
Adult ticket prices start from just £20 for Friday and Saturday, £15 for Sunday when booking in advance. Children’s tickets are £5 on Friday or Saturday and free on Sunday. Parking is also free throughout. The show is open from 9.30am each day and closes at 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday and 4.30pm on Sunday.
