Dear Geoff
Have restored almost identical bike to yours.Difference is twin exhaust feeding into one.
Says its 1951 on Rego papers
I originally owned one in Hobart Tas.in 1968 but sold it after a year.
Purchased this other one in1998(in Victoria) and a friend restored it over the next 4 years.I ride it once a month to keep ticking it over.Starts really well despite the irregular usage.
I am not sure whether it is a G80 0r a G9 .
Can you tell me how to distinguish between the 2 ?
Also value wise how do they compare ?
Cheers Tony
A G80 is a single…but otherwise has exactly the same trim etc as the G9, but the exhaust differs…no megaphone…only on a G9 Clubman.
