1952 AJS 10R? Pictures
Add Your Photos! Thanks to Dave Martin for this picture of what he believes may be Rod Coleman on a 10R in 1952. And thanks also to Jim Ward for the following thoughts: "under close scrutiny, the Rod Coleman photo shows a three-valve 7R rather than one of the elusive 10R (G45) twins. The exterior appearance of the drive-side exhaust port and the finning look to be those of the 7R engine rather than the G45 engine."
Jim Ward you are correct.
Definitely on the earliest version of the 7R3. Twin exhaust was only on the 3-valve engine. That’s my Grandad – Rod Coleman. We have this photo in our family collection, and Grandad confirms it is 3-valve 350. From Mia Coleman – New Zealand……….GO GRANDAD !!!
