Many thanks to Thanks Jean-Pierre Griffeville for this unusual picture that he took in 1966 or 67 at Clermont-Ferrand, the French GP circuit, during the week before the GP. At this time all the mechanics were working from the grass – but the Japanese were smart enough to wear white gloves! How times have changed!
