As one of the most powerful machines of its day, it competed in Norton’s first sporting venture – a Birmingham MCC hill-climb at Rednal, Shropshire. Engine: 985cc (80 x 98mm) automatic valve v-twin with Longuemare carb and magneto ignition Tranmission: direct drive by belt with auxilliary pedals. Power: 8hp Top speed: 45mph
