Thanks to Mark Bolland for these pictures of a tour his grandfather did in 1938 on Triumphs around Europe with his mates (reg’s BWW 977, CAK 771, END 377 (his grandad’s) NF2047 and JX5320. The tour took them to the South of france then back through Europe to Norway at the start of war. When Mark has reconstructed the tour he is thinking of recreating it, although he admits that the white boilersuit, leather greatcoat and flat cap combo hasn’t really stood the test of time…..
