No,it was based on asleeved down Honda 600 car engine. Built by Andreas Georgiades. (ASG)
In 1972 I shared Trevor Smith’s workshop in Earls Court with George. The motor was a sleeved down Honda S600 engine with the block modified to have 4 smaller sleeves air cooled instead of the water jacket. George matched a pair of 250 twin race kit 4 vave double OHC heads to hold down the sleeves. The bike was an absolute jet but the 16″ front and rear wheels created bad handling problems which were never really sorted.
