The BSA B31 was manufactured in 1945 by the Birmingham Small Arms Company. This was the company's debut bike following WWII and was based off of pre-war blueprints.
The single-cylinder four-stroke engine was common and put out 348 ccs. The BSA B33 was soon to follow, along with the BSA B32 and BSA B34, which could haul a sidecar.
New updates were incorporated around 1954 which included a plunger and a swing-arm rear suspension.
The line eventually halted in 1959, following the newly implemented alternator and coil ignition updates. The BSA brand continued on with the popular BSA Goldstars motorcycles.
