Many thanks to Brian Charlesworth for his picture./ It’s of his grandmother’s two brothers and was taken before the first world war. The men on the bike are Herbert and James Peel, and were both sadly killed in the war. The bike is an Elswick, made in Barton Upon Humber around 1910-1912 – thanks to all those who pointed this ou.
