1920s Norton (H. Moller) Pictures

Many thanks to Carrick Watson and Alan Hayton from New Zealand for this picture. The photograph was taken at the Hawera Racecourse, near New Plymouth.(I would guess at a date of 1925/26 by the saddle tank Norton). The rider is Henrik.H.Moller, and the chap on the left is his brother Jack,who was a veteran of Gallipoli. The Mollers are of Danish origin, and became very successful in the motor trade in New Zealand with garages in both New Plymouth and Hawera. Henrik had three sons, Norton, Russell and Peter. The remarkable thing about Henrik H. Moller is that in 1926 he came from New Zealand all the way to the Isle of Man to compete in the Senior TT.
