I have a 1929 OK Supreme 250cc (serial/frame # 12881, engine # A/71070/5-0) that would look very similar to yours if it were assembled. It was purchased in Newbury by my father and a local friend in 1982, crated and shipped to Canada (disassembled) as a retirement “project” for Dad. It was supposedly a daily driver when it was purchased. With best of intentions, the boxes of “project” were moved from house to house eventually landing in my brother’s basement but never reassembled. Dad has since passed and the “project” boxes moved to my basement in southern Ontario. I just have 4 photos to show how the puzzle goes together but I would like to reassemble it to assess completeness before potentially restoring it. It was complete when it arrived in 1982 but bits have gone missing in the various moves. The most important missing piece is the top of the steering head (what would be called the triple clamp on a modern bike). It is the piece that has the top bearing race for the head tube upper bearing, a horizontal cross tube for the mount of the upper end of the springer fork and a hole to mount the top end of the central spring. I can’t assemble the front of the bike without it. While I can guess at dimensions and mock something up, I would very much appreciate detailed photos and actual dimensions of this critical part (especially the distance from the centre of head tube to cross tube dimension for the steering geometry) or (even better) contacts or sources for OK Supreme parts. Over in Canada, these bikes are completely unknown so there is nothing locally available. Dad’s British friend is still alive and well, a keen cycle enthusiast and can be used as a secondary shipping helper if needed.

Andy, did you get assistance with the girder fork parts required for your rebuild? Today I exchanged a 29 Levis two stroke for a 30 model 250 OK. Yet to pick it up but would very much like to correspond with another owner. Kind Regards Peter in Australia. BTW are your front forks made by Webb?
