A 1931 Model SG with its distinctive inclined 500cc 4 valve engine. Also notable for a semi-unit gearbox/engine construction and a wide frame with tubes running outside the cylinder head. This one is on display at the National Motorcycle Museum.

The bruder of my grand-father used to drive a machine like this. I like to know more about this bike and the history of Ariel.
Would it be possible to buy one of this bikes or perhaps to restore it? I am a mechanic and I could restore it mainly myself.
