Part of the Ivan Rhodes Velocette gathering at the 2010 Festival of 1000 Bikes. This is a works Woods machine from 1937.
Saw this same bike at the honda shop today. The tech guy modded the wheels and front/read disc brakes. Also he ported it to 600cc and claimed 80 hp. He claimed it handled great, but kinda hard to believe with that frame. Bike looked good.
Impossible to believe that somebody would be so thoughtless and downright stupid as to carry out such major alterations to this piece of historic motorcycling. I sincerely hope that those modifications are completely reversible.
