Dear Sir,
Could you tell me what year was the james 125cc motor bike with the gear lever on the petrol tank, I think it was around 1950, also where could I purchase,
Kind Rgards,
BILL.
I think it’s a James cadet or a j15 1955 it looks the same as mine the number should on the frame under the seat last numbers relate to age hope this helps Andy
Hi. This is the first bike I restored in 1962 as a Comprehensive School fifth former. Our metalwork teacher helped me to turn new bushes for the plunger rears. Other kids had “Scooters” and were in awe of my “Motorbike”. I then went on to ride the powerful 197cc FB Falcon! If anyone has either for sale I will be interested.
I’m now a retired Honda owner. 1977 CB 400/4, 1979 CB 550k3, 1988 750 VFR FJ, 1982 Honda GL 500 Interstate, 1979 CBX1000Z, The Mrs has a 1994 CB 250 Nighthawk which she is very comfortable riding,
Just like to say I have bought 125 a few months ago and use it every day for work. 100 mpg no tax or mot so cheap to run. Love it. Can just imagine some one using it for work 62 year ago. John
