Thanks to Gerry of the US for these pictures of his BSA SS80.
This SS80 sat as a curiosity in a Rapid City, South Dakota motorcycle shop where the mad lads were only interested in the bigger twins. The bike shop went out of business decades ago, and the SS80 sat until two years ago when the heirs of the shop owner decided to sell the shop’s contents. When I acquired the SS80 in December of 2009, it had an original 26 miles on the clock – essentially a new motorcycle manufactured 47 years ago. It runs like a dream.
