I was in the Navy stationed in Morocco in 1963-1965. I purchased a Demm 49cc bike while I was there. It looked a lot like the DOT Vivi racer in this photo.
Good Morning. In the 40s until the 60s, our Dad Bill, owned a motorcycle shop in Crewe. Cheshire. And I can remember my brother Sid riding a Dot Vivi to and from his place of work at Rolls Royce. It was a nice little bike, it was only 50cc, but our Sid could make it sing. They where I believe imported by Dots of Ardwick near Manchester. Dot stood for Devoid Of Trouble. I never knew what became of it, perhaps it was sold. Hope this helps. I’d love to see again, seeing the picture brought back many memories of our Sid (God Bless him) riding it!

I bought a DOT ViVi in 1960 from Queens Park Motorcycles on Broad St, Salford. I remember the price, it was £16-15-6d
It differed from the model in the picture as it had pressed steel forks and leading link suspension.
