An interesting Greeves motorcycle on display at the 2011 Race Retro event. It is a 1963 model supplied to its current owner from new. It was run in AMCA trials for a few years – also with a sidecar in 1980 (an experiment that apparently did not last long!). At one point in its life, the engine was removed and was taken to the Villiers experimental department where it was used a the starting base for building the Starmaker engines.
Not a standard build, but a fine bike nonetheless.
