I am am ‘posing’ on a friend’s Norton Dominator Cafe Racer, my own mount at the time being a humble Triumph Tiger Cub. The picture is taken outside another mates house near Ipswich. We met there to view his own Cafe Racer which started out as a Sunbeam S8! Strange but true.
44 years on I am still obsessed with bikes and one day I am going to sit down a make a list of all the ones I have owned. 4 years ago I had 32 – all Italian apart from 2 Yamaha race bikes, but mercifully I am now reduced to just 12.
