Thanks to Paul Spankie for this lovely picture of his 1968 650SS. Paul says "All my bikes have had names, this one is called Lucy. We have been together now just over 30 years which is a little bit longer than I have been married, a fact which I have to keep reminding the wife about. I still had brown hair then but the bike does not look any different to when I brought it. The Norton was first bought by Mr. Sparrow in October 1968 who kept it for ten years then he retired from motorcycling so I have been looking after her ever since. The bike, as you can see, is very original and has also been well used clocking up over one hundred thousand miles and still going."
