This 750ss was purchased from a mate who had it parked in his shed for about 12yrs.
I’ve done a “nut & bolt” total rebuild over a period of about 10yrs.I was not after ‘concourse’ finish , just a resto job that I could be happy with, which I could ride as I pleased.
Changes to the bike included, braided brake lines,K&N air filters, Silent Hektik ignition system after the rebuilt stator failed, Ikon rear shocks. The bike runs Michelin Macadam rear & Michelin Pilot sport front,I also have the dual seat for it. .It’s been registered since ’08 and has won 2nd place trophies in a coupla showings.
It runs beautifully and tracks of course “like on rails”. The biggest reward is people wanting to talk about it when parked, I think that repays all my effort.
