    Great sounding Bike,great rider, loved watching him race at Oulton Park on the Mondial,
    boy the memories, also on the track and doing well at that time were well tuned BSA Bantam street Bikes, not sure now but I believe Bill Webster raced against Cecil Sandford.

    I’ve never seen Taveri in any helmet but red with a white cross, but i wouldn’t dispute the caption.

    I still have a D, K W. badge he gave me at the motor cycle show at Earles Court 1950′s. It was his personal badge. Roger Webb ( Harold Webb Motor Cycles, Ross-on-Wye.
