A few unknown riders at Brands Hatch in 1962. Anyone recognise them? Thanks to Terry Newland for the pictures. Thanks also to Peter Kirby who beleves that the riders may be Picture 1 John Cooper & Picture 2 Dave Degens & Lewis Young.
Lewis young on Tom Kirby’s G50 leading someone who could well be Degens. It’s not ’62 though, as the fairing on Young’s bike didn’t appear until ’63. As the second picture is from the same meeting and Cooper too has the same fairing on his Manx, I think the photos are from 64/5, a period when Cooper was becoming a Brands regular and giving Minter et al some serious hurry up.
