Another lovely old bike that has recently passed through the Bikes for Sale section on the site. It’s a lovely old 1951 Ariel.
I must be getting ancient, had many a short pillion seat ride home from work on one of these single cylinder jobs, bit noisy but reliable , ie noisy unless you’re a Harley fan etc.
Question, do folks still say Pillion Seat??
I guess people like us still call it pillion… We’d have to ask some younger people to see what they call it nowadays!

Hi…I had a lovely old Ariel Red Hunter 350 in the 60s..at Hucknall..put it together from boxes of parts some one had stripped it. it was my fist bike and what a load of fun as i had a sport chassis on the side until i past the test. often had three guys on the side and two on the bike into town with no problem! Awsome! Have fun you guys!!! Michael
