Thanks to John Bailey for these pictures. John found this bike with matching numbers in Indonesia and has just finished restoring it. He realises that the saddle isn’t quite right yet and he’s taken a few liberties eg the colour. It also has a lot of parts chromed that should be painted black (in retrospect he knows he should have painted them. Never mind!). All the paint was done there in Indonesia and many mechanical parts manufactured there as well. He still needs the spring for the stand! Hence the aero elastic…..
Are the monograms on Tank original and came with 1958n model?
