This 360cc Greeves was found in Scotland in 2005 in a very bad state with a broken frame. It was sent to Greeves Motorcycles Ltd for a full factory rebuild incoluding electronic ignition, 12v driven crank starter and very high compression. It hasn’t been raced since the rebuild. Apparently it is very loud when running….

On display at the 2010 Footman James Classic Motor Show, at the NEC.  Read the blog for more event details.

In 1967 I think this model was under development and not yet for sale .Arthur Browning was Greeves works rider and lent me his prototype to ride in the AMCA. I rode it in ITV televised scramble at Polesworth and looped it on the start ,but won every 500cc race on this and 250cc race on my 1966 challenger the next few events then sadly had to return it!

I was searching for stuff on Arthur Browning/Greeves & saw this comment. i believe you were 250 european champion in AMCA, around this time? i actually bought the challenger you won it on, from Hyland Crowe in erdington around 1968/9? it had the noisiest and largest rear expansion box on it, which at the time i thought would never pass scruitineering !!! I had many happy races on it in 250 AMCA seniors at that time, before venturing on to 750 class on an ex Dave Smith works 405 sprite.
