My idea of a Board Track Racer.  The project was done completely out of boredom…  I had come across some Triumph parts via a friend moving out of the state (florida) and he offered the parts for helping him load the moving van. One day (about a year later) I  got the itch to build something, so I sat down and started to sketch some ideas and this is the end result. I hung the neck on a piece of solid half inch round bar welded to the table and built the frame. The Motor mounts / Exhaust / Seat mechanism and countless other parts are Stainless.  The 1968 650 Bonneville motor is flawless and goes down the road with ease. The bike weighs in at 298lbs which helps it be very nimble. Both 21 inch wheels give a bit of a board track racer look.

It’s one of those bikes that’s effortless to ride and is just a blast.

  1. I saw this bike at the Rats Hole Show in Daytona, it won the bobber class and should have won the over all show. But that’s another story !! This bike was Finished, the builder didn’t miss anything, it was clean and uncluttered, and you have to check out the seat mechanism. It is the best custom Triumph I’ve seen, period.

This is the most beautiful machine I have ever seen. This is as close to “My” idea of motoring perfection as I have seen. Awesome does not do it or its creator credit.

I also saw this bike at the Rats Hole, it did win the bobber class and I agree it should have wont the show. The shame is the these shows used to be about ‘Hand Crafted works of Art” like this Triumph. I feel for the guys that put endless hours and get nothing in return. If I remember the bike that won the over all show was a bagger that had nothing but bolt ons and a paint job. Greta job I hope to see more of this guys work…..
