I first met Geoff in 1958 when I bought my first bike from him when he was a race sponsor and I helped him prepare bikes for races. I became friendly with his family for many years but lost contact 20 years ago but met many well known riders during my time assisting him .
He was a great man and I will always remember him for his generosity and kindness
