Taxi in Paris! Pictures

Thanks to Laurie Prior for this lovely old picture of what he believes is a Taxi in Paris in the early 20th century. And thanks to Wiebe Brouwer for some additional information. The best identification of the bike is a “La Jumella”. The picture was taken in 1922 at the Champ-de Mars in Paris.

This loks like a truly rare beast, a stretched Neracar. Hub centre steered, long wheelbase, probably had to be that far out from the tower to turn around it?
