I’m afraid I can’t tell you anything about this bike. It was the first bike I saw as I arrived at the 2006 Festival of 1000 Bikes. Can anyone tell me anything? Isn’t it a superb looking machine!
A Val Page designed Tiger I think. Looks too small a barrel for a Tiger 70 (250), so I hazard a guess at it being either Tiger 80 (350) or 90 (500). The 350s were popular in off road racing, but the 500 never seemed to go as well in it’s class, according to a Triumph history I read somewhere.
