Thanks to N Davy for this picture of KTT 980 in its present DOHC form after resurrection over the last few years.
This machine has now been fitted with a Venom big end, which required some additional machining together with a Carillo rod. The addition of titanium valves, megacycle special cams with 0.500″ lift and newly designed lighter cam followers permits revving comfortably to 9000 rpm, up from 8300 last year, and no loss of bottom end but a big increase in top end. Preliminary computer modeling indicates something over 44+ bhp. Still in testing at the local airport.
